Many countries have been recruiting Covid-19 contact tracers as part of a "test, track, and trace" strategy. In the United Kingdom and the United States, for example, large corps of volunteers have signed up for online classes on the concepts and methods that have served South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan throughout the pandemic.
